Hydro Test of Boiler Unit #1 has been successfully conducted for Khurja STPP (2x660 MW) on 15th March 2023 at 5:30 PM. The occasion was graced by CMD, NTPC;CMD,THDC; Director (Proj), NTPC;Director (Fin),THDC and ED Consultancy.

THDC is a subsidiary of NTPC, owns the project.

The package was awarded to L&T MHI power on 29th August 2019 and despite Covid-19 and steel price hike, the milestone was achieved within 12 months from completion of CG erection.

CMD,NTPC congratulated all stakeholders including NTPC Consultancy wing Khurja site and THDC team for the achievement. He emphasized on building system for safety and quality for seamless progress.

He stressed on integration of balance works so that the unit is commissioned by February 2024.
